Gimme a head with hair, long beautiful hair
Shining, gleaming, steaming, flaxen, waxen
Give me down to there, hair!

Red, auburn, carrot-topped, copper.
Blonde, ashen, sun-kissed, gold, platinum, tow-headed, dishwater.
Brunette, brownette, brown-black, ash-brown, deep brown, red-brown.
Gray, silver, salt-and-pepper, white.
Energetic, temperamental, high-spirited.
Shallow, slow-witted, greedy.
Earthy, smart, dull.
Distinguished, old, experienced.
Bleaches, dyes, highlights, lowlights, multitones, rinses.
Perms, straighteners, curlers, waves, irons, blow-dryers.
Shampoos, conditioners, pomades, hairspray, leave in, rinse-out, tamers, detanglers, de-frizzers, gels, spritzes, creams.
Clarifying, color-boosting, thickening, damaged, dry, oily, normal, dandruff, curly, straight, medium, wavy, blonde, brunette, red, black.
Cut, color, texture, long, short, medium, chin-length, shoulder-length, cap.
With the right chemical preparation, our hair is more an expression of what's inside than out. It shows who we'd like to be and how we'd like to be thought of.

From a guy's perspective, all I ever really think about is short or long, wet or dry, clean or dirty, black or gray. Anything beyond that makes my hair hurt.
